Hope Counce

Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Henry Callison will officiate. Burial will follow in Hickman City Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the hour of services Saturday.
Pallbearers will be Robert Howard, Trey Woody, Brian Street, George Evans Jr., Joey Watts and Rodney Watts. Honorary pallbearers will be Dolly Covington, Margaret Morris, Larry Gray, Phillip Amberg, J.P. Amberg, Ben Terrett and Tommy Hepler.
Mrs. Counce was born Sept. 13, 1917, in Fulton County, Ky., daughter of the late George B. and Lula (Kitrell) Evans. She married James Lloyd Counce Oct. 8, 1938. He died Oct. 19, 1998. Mrs. Counce was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.
She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Dianne and Ray Woody of Annona, Texas, and Shirley and Donald Watts of Graysville; her daughter-in-law, Teresa Evans of Woodland Mills; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her son, George Evans Sr.; three sisters; and her brother.
