Willie Lemons

Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Murphy Funeral Home in Martin, with the Rev. David Hazlewood officiating. Burial will follow in Hornbeak Cemetery in Greenfield.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the hour of services Tuesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Elliott, Stephen Elliott, Brian Elliott, Ray Plunk Chad Plunk, Bobby King and Bart Lemons.
He was born Feb. 17, 1933, in Milan, son of the late Tommie F. and Lucille (Greer) Lemons. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lula Mae (Baker) Lemons.
He was a retired truck driver for Lease-Ways Trucking Co. and was a U.S. Air Force veteran.
He was a member of Martin Mason Lodge #551 and was a Scottish Rite member and was also a member of Cypress Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors also include his daughter and son-in-law, Debbie Gail and Joe Varossa of Lebanon; his daughter-in-law, Pam Lemons of Union City; two grandchildren and their spouses, Willard and Teresa Lemons of Martin and Bart and Elisha Lemons of Kissimmee, Fla.; and three great-grandchildren, Brandy Lemons and Price Lemons, both of Martin, and Kaleb Worrell of Union City.
He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Sheila Ann Lemons; two brothers, Bennie Lemons and Billie Lemons; and his sister, Kathryn Elliott.
