Leonard Nelson

Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Jerry Leggett will officiate. Burial will follow in East View Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home 5-8 p.m. today.
Pallbearers will be Ricky Brown, Timmy Adams, Tim Smith, Jimmy Craig, Richard Chmielewski and James Fagan.
Mr. Nelson was born April 25, 1943, in Trimble, son of the late Clifford Anderson and Willie Lucille (Inman) Nelson. He married the former Linda Woodward March 21, 1964. She survives.
Mr. Nelson had been employed at the former Brown Shoe Co., the former Reelfoot Packing Co. and the former Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. He was an avid golfer and bowler and was a member of Union City Baptist Temple.
He is also survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Lisa Lynn and Eric Ogden of Union City; two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert Glynn and Angela Nelson of Obion and Brian Anderson and Donna Nelson of Woodland Mills; his sister, Earline Craig of Woodland Mills; six grandchildren, Cameron Grant of Obion, Hunter Wright Nelson, Ali Nicole Nelson, Bryan Ables and Logan Sean Ogden, all of Union City, and Paige Ables of Woodland Mills; and four great-grandchildren, Alexus Ables, Jordan Barber and Hayden Barber, all of Woodland Mills, and Tucker Ables of Union City.
He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Lori Lynn Nelson; and his brother, Clarence Nelson.
