Jimmy Vaughn

Services will be 3 p.m. Saturday at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Jerry Leggett will officiate. Burial will follow in East View Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until the hour of services Saturday.
Pallbearers will be Ricky Vaughn, Chaise Vaughn, Kevin Frazier, Chris Frazier, Dennis Frazier and Frank Maceri. Honorary pallbearers will be former co-workers at Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co.
Jimmy was born June 16, 1946, in Alexandria, La., son of the late George Vernon and Frances Louise (Scherger) Vaughn. He married the former Peggy Wilson July 17, 1971. She survives. Jimmy retired after 38 years of service as a computer programmer for the former Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. in Union City. He worked in concessions for Union City High School football and basketball games and baseball games at Graham Park. Jimmy was an avid supporter of the Union City High School band program. He also had served in the U.S. Navy.
He is also survived by his daughter, Tammy (Vaughn) Eason of Union City; his son, Ricky Vaughn of Union City; his sister, Jeanne Frazier of St. Peters, Mo.; three grandchildren, Kayla Eason and Chaise Vaughn, both of Union City, and Kelsey Eason of Chattanooga; and several nieces and nephews, including Chris Frazier, Kevin Frazier and David Adkins.
