Services were set for 1 p.m. today at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with Dr. Bobby Williams officiating. Burial was to follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers were to be Kenneth Barnes, Lynn Barnes, Glenn Patterson, Barry Cranford, Bobby Calhoun and Jeremy Barnes.
The family requests that memorials be made to Antioch Union Church, 5767 Mount Olive Road, Union City, TN 38261.
She was born May 27, 1930, in Obion County, daughter of the late Virtle Ira and Georgie (Fluty) Barnes. She married Harold Thomas Taylor Feb. 18, 1950. He died June 4, 2005. She was a retired employee of the former Salant & Salant in Union City and was a member of Antioch Union Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Joyce Wesner of South Fulton; two sons and her daughter-in-law, Thomas Taylor of Gadsden, Ala., and Terry and Denise Taylor of Rives; six grandchildren, John Wesner, Nita Allison, Amanda Taylor, Kurt Wesner, Seth Taylor and Emily Taylor; eight great-grandchildren, Zechary Wesner, Andrew Wesner, Taylor Madison, Madison Allison, Brooklyn Taylor, Alexander Wesner, Bella Wesner and Reese Taylor; and her sister, Thelma Calhoun of Union City.
She was also preceded in death by her sister, Katherine Cranford; and her brother, Robert M. Barnes.
