Services will be 1 p.m. Friday at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Tony Green officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery near Clinton, Ky.
The family will recieve friends from 10 a.m. until the hour of services Friday at the funeral home.
She was born May 19, 1931, in Martin, daughter of the late Cecil and Lillie (Sallee) Brown. She married William “Bub” King Oct. 27, 1951. He died in February 1969. She was a member of David’s Chapel Baptist Church in the Brownsville (Ky.) community.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jan and Herbert Goodman of Troy; two grandsons and the spouse of one, William Goodman of Troy and Herbert “Bubba” and Lois Goodman of Richlands, N.C.; three great-grandchildren, Celeste Goodman and Gage Goodman, both of Troy, and Johnny Goodman of Richlands; her sister and brother-in-law, Deloris and Tony Green of Cayce, Ky.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Robert D. “Bobby” Brown and William P. “Bill” Brown; and her sister, Evelyn F. Greene.
