Thomas Harmon

Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Anointed Church of the Living God, with the Rev. Richard Davis officiating. Rawls Funeral Home in Union City is in charge of arrangements.
He was born July 1, 1946,  in Ripley, to the union of the former Earlean Williams and Edgar Harmon Sr., who both preceded him in death.
He was united in marriage with the former Martha Jeanette Reynolds Feb. 14, 1981.
He leaves to cherish his memory four daughters, Betty Wright of Martin, Lori Abbott of Tonawanda, N.Y., Lisa Abbott of Union City and Marie Harmon of Shelbyville; his son and daughter-in-law, Marcus and Monquita King of Gadsden, Ala.; two siblings, Dorothy Halliburton of Paducah, Ky., and Edgar “Sonny” Harmon Jr. and his wife, Katherine, of Union City; two uncles, Alf Young of Ripley and Welton Young of Dayton, Ohio; nine grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Ada Coleman; and his brother-in-law, Hershel Coleman.
