Jewel Crockett

Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with Harrell Davidson and Bobby Stewart officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery in Obion.
The family will receive friends today from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Roger Fisher, Sammy Snead, Jimmy Gwaltney, Buddy Griffin, Buddy Bright, Tommy Craft and Rusty Hutchison.
She was born May 6, 1921, in Obion County, daughter of the late Harmon Bond and Bertha (Owens) Fox. She was married to Paul Allen Crockett Jr. July 1940. He died Feb. 7, 2000. She was a homemaker and a member of Main Street Church of Christ in Troy.
She is survived by her daughter, Mary Lee Sanders of Bartlett; two sons, David Paul Crockett of Obion and James Hill Crockett Sr. of Crossville; six grandchildren, Elizabeth Ann (Crockett) Overton of Peoria, Ariz., Stephen Christopher Crockett of Union City, Travis Scott Crockett of Melbourne, Fla., Carol Ann Hawsey of Hoover, Ala., James Hill Crockett Jr. of Dallas and Patrick W. Sanders of Memphis; and six great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her granddaughter, Angela (Sanders) Painter, and two sisters, Helen Fox Albright and Billie Fox Downs.
