Bobbie Blakemore

Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jerry Leggett officiating. Burial will follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Marvin Alexander, Wen-dall Alexander, Larry Alexander, Ronnie Alex-ander, Keith Alexander, Bobby Polsgrove, Jimmy Polsgrove, Bob McClure and Brandon Whitehead.
The family requests  that memorials be made to “I Love This Place” building fund, Clay Road Baptist Church, Houston, TX 77086; or Union City Second Baptist Church building fund.
She was born Aug. 18, 1926, in Rome, Ga., daughter of the late Bob and Jettie (Hansbrough) Whitehead. She had been secretary for the Obion County Soil Conservation District and was a member of Clay Road Baptist Church. She was a former member of Union City Second Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Rita and Richard Ashby of Houston; her son and daughter-in-law, Dan and Lucianne Blakemore of Gonzales, Texas; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; her sister, Dorothy Alexander of Martin; and her brother, Billy Whitehead of Tyler, Texas.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, James Whitehead and Franklin Whitehead; and two sisters, Mary Nell Polsgrove and Margaret Alexander.
