Betty Ann Keiser

A memorial service was held Nov. 1 at Grace Presbyterian Church in Bartlett. Burial was in Memphis National Cemetery.
The family requests that memorials be made to Grace Presbyterian Church, 6671 Yale Road, Bartlett, TN 38134.
She was born April 7, 1921, in St. Louis, to Mable (Delaplain) and William Floyd Pierce. She grew up in Union City, graduating from Union City High School, and attended Freed-Hardeman University. She moved to Memphis, where she lived the remainder of her life. She worked in administration in the medical field for many years, retiring from the Pediatrics Department of the University of Tennessee Health and Sciences in Memphis in 1997. Mrs. Keiser was also an avid reader and Bridge player. She was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church in Bartlett.
Mrs. Keiser is survived by her son, William Brooks Keiser of Memphis, three nieces and her nephew.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Sugg Keiser, also formerly from Union City, and four sisters, Katherine P. Graham, Mary Ellen Sheridan, Virginia P. Johnson and Mary K. Bondurant.
Family Funeral Care in Memphis was in charge of arrangements.
