Ronnie Lamar

Services for Mr. Lamar will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Karnes & Son Funeral Home of Kenton, with the Rev. Brandon Norton officiating. Interment will follow in White Rose Cemetery in Gibson.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Lamar was born May 14, 1956, in Humboldt, son of the late Willie Franklin and Freda Jean (Sanders) Lamar. He had retired as a tire builder at the former Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. in Union City. Ronnie Lamar was a founding member of Riverwoods Church.
Mr. Lamar is survived by his wife, Cynthia Laverne (Davidson) Lamar; his son, Luke Lamar; his daughter, Amanda McAlister; four grandchildren, Molly, Addyson and Charley Lamar and Pierce McAlister; three brothers, Greg, Tim and Tony Lamar; and also several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
