Services were set for 6 p.m. today at Laycock-Hobbs Funeral Home in Athens, with the Rev. Ty Harrison officiating. Interment will be 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery on John Sevier Highway in Knoxville.
The family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. today in the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, in care of Faye Forgerty.
She was the daughter of the late Charles Milton and Virginia (Arnold) Davison. She attended Keith Memorial United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband of 36 years, Greg McCorkle; two sons and daughters-in-law, Christopher and Michelle McCorkle of San Antonio, Texas, and Steven and Anoushka McCorkle of Starkville, Miss.; and four grandchildren, Nickolas Leightley, Liam McCorkle, Izzabella McCorkle and William Allen McCorkle.
