Born to James Wesley Davidson Sr. and Erma Irene (McCune) Davidson, Jim proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps, including a tour in Vietnam. He retired after 34 years of service with Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. He never saw an automobile without wanting to work under its hood and was adept at repairing them. His talent extended to lawn mowers and most anything with a motor and he generously helped any and all. Those who knew him know what an engaging story teller he was.
He is survived by his wife, Annette (Wilkerson) Davidson, the love of his life with whom he shared life, love and laughter for 52 years. He will be greatly missed by his three children: his son, Tommy Davidson; and daughters and sons-in-law, Dawn and Kevin Younger and Beth and Randy Molands, all of Union City; five grandchildren, Natalie, Zachary, Kylie, Connor and Miranda; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Kenneth and Norma Davidson, Dennis and Renee Davidson, Donald and Brette Davidson and Christopher and Denise Davidson; four sisters, Charladene Yensen, Marilyn Seaman, Jeanette Davidson and Janice Davidson; and his sister-in-law, Linda Bussey Yagello.
