Judy Grooms

Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Chip Davis will officiate. Burial will follow in Salem Cemetery
Pallbearers will be Robbie Sexton, David Haste, Bill Townes, Bill Austin, Woody Booth and Wilber Brewer.
The family will receive friends at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. Friday.
They request memorials be made online to Shriners Hospitals for Children or to the Alzheimers Association.
Mrs. Grooms was born Jan. 27, 1941, in the Clayton community, daughter of the late Frank and Byrt (Johnson) Ray. She married Charles Grooms June 21, 1963. He survives. She was a member of Lake Road Baptist Church and was a retired social worker for the State of Tennessee.
She is also survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Michelle Grooms of Haysville, Kan.; two grandchildren and the spouse of one, Meagan and Robbie Sexton of Wellington, Kan., and Kristen Grooms of Haysville; two great-grandchildren, Matt Sexton and Luke Sexton of Wellington; two sisters, Gerry Klenke of Memphis and Vivian Cole of Gemantown.; her brother and sister-in-law, Harold and Lenora Ray of Union City; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
