Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jimmy Calhoun officiating. Burial will follow in East View Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from noon-2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Family members will serve as pallbearers.
He was born Nov. 6, 1928, in Milan, son of the late Heidi Gardner and Shelly (Reeves) Neill. He was married to the former Delores Cherry, who died Feb. 14, 2000. He was a longtime Woodmen of the World Insurance salesman, employed in that job for more than 30 years. He was also a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War and was a Methodist and a Mason.
He is survived by two daughters and his son-in-law, Paula and Roger Boyles of Corinth, Miss., and Karen Cherry Neill of Memphis; three grandsons and their wives, Matthew and Candy Singleton, David Norris and Dana Singleton and Christopher and Shannon Boyles, all of Corinth; his granddaughter and her husband, Stephanie and Jason Bascomb of Burnsville, Miss.; and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by his brother, Randy Neill; his half brother, J.B. Neill; and his half sister, Naomi Fitz.
