Cora Frances Gill

Services will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Murphy Funeral Home in Martin, with the Rev. Mitch Boulton officiating. Burial will follow there in East Side Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the hour of services Friday.
They request that memorials be made to Agape House in Martin.
Pallbearers will be John Mark Walker, Chad Parks, Jeremy Barnes, Joel McKinnis, Mike Parrott and Kenneth Barnes.
She was born May 2, 1929, in Martin, daughter of the late Lera (Erwin) and Ralph Freeman Sr. She was a retired seamstress who had been employed at Martin Manufacturing Co., and was an active member of Martin Senior Citizens Center and of Central Baptist Church in Martin. She loved quilting and provided quilts for her family. She was also a volunteer worker at We Care. She loved to travel and loved spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Stan and Robin Baker of Martin and Clift and Donna Parks of Duck Hill, Miss.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Sheila and Mike Parrott of Jackson and Sharon and Kenneth Barnes of Union City; seven grandchildren, Allie Baker, Kenthia McKinnis, Jeremy Barnes, Kelsey Barnes, Richard Parks, Chad Parks and Josh Parks; and her great-grandson, Kreigh McKinnis.
She was also preceded in death by her brother, Ralph Freeman Jr.; and her sister, Elwanda Walker.
