She was a former resident of Tiptonville.
Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday at First United Methodist Church in Tiptonville. Bro. Jerry Leggett will officiate. Burial will follow in Tiptonville City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at First United Church in Tiptonville from 9 a.m. until the hour of services Tuesday.
Pallbearers will be Larry McCain, George Norris, Ricky Gray, Albert Markham, Marty Vaughn and Mike Alvin.
Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Hyde was born Feb. 28, 1922, in Wilson, Ark., daughter of the late John Love and Izella (Finley) Norris. She married Arthur Glendon Hyde on Nov. 27, 1941. He died Nov. 23, 1972
Mr. and Mrs. Hyde were the owners and operators of the former Markham Drug Store in Tiptonville. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Tiptonville and had worked on many projects for the City of Tiptonville.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jeannie (Hyde) and James Buchanan of the Pleasant Hill community; her son and daughter-in-law, Glen Alan and Renee Hyde of Winchester; her brother, Charles Thomas “Tinker” Norris of Tiptonville; her sister, Doris Ruth “Babe” (Norris) Alvin of Memphis; four grandchildren, Richard Alan Buchanan of Los Angeles, Mary Katherine (Hyde) Langdon of Middleton, Texas, Corinne Lanier (Hyde) Plumhoff of Houston, Texas., and Glendon Alan Hyde of Chattanooga; and two great-grandchildren, Mason Cole Pierce of the Pleasant Hill community and Sarah Edythe Langdon of Middleton, Texas.
She was also preceded in death by her granddaughter, Amber (Buchanan) Pierce; two sisters, Mary Ann Norris and Virginia Dare Norris; and four brothers, John Love Norris II, Robert Lewis Norris, Joe Finley Norris and George Bitner “Sonny” Norris.
