Ronald Strong

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church at 205 Moulton St. in Hickman.  
Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. and after 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church. The Revs. Henry Callison, Tom Quinby and James Roberson will officiate. Burial will follow in Hickman City Cemetery.

Mr. Strong was the co-owner of Strong Funeral Home and was a 50-year member of the Funeral Directors and Embalmers Association of Kentucky. He was the NFDA policy board director, was past president of the Funeral Directors Association of Kentucky and had founded the Hickman Harbor Service. He was also past president of the Hickman Country Club and was a member of First Baptist Church of Hickman.
Mr. Strong is survived by his wife, Linda (McMullin) Strong; his son and daughter-in-law, Todd and Laura Major of Hickman; his daughter and son-in-law, Robin (Major) and Scott Craig of Pittsburg, Kan.; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Anthony Strong of Butler, Ky., and Mark and Jackie Strong and Stephen and Angela Strong, all of Louisville, Ky.; his daughter, Suzanne Strong of Louisville; his brother, Frank Strong of Woodland Mills; his grandchildren, Austin Major, Davis Major and Brooklyn Major, all of Hickman, and Tanner Craig and McKenzie Craig, both of Pittsburg, Kan.; his grandsons, Jackson Strong of Butler and Max Strong of Louisville; his granddaughters, Mady Strong and Kristin Fraley, both of Louisville; and his great-grandson, Benjamin Strong of Butler.
He was also preceded in death by his parents, J.C. and Golda (Carlton) Strong; and his brother, James Strong.
