Zora Mae Rudd
Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at White & Mahon Funeral Home in Troy, with Dr. Vann Kissell officiating. Burial will follow in Campground Cemetery near Troy.
The family will receive friends 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Wayne Storey, Steve Huey, Greg Huey, Jeff Rudd, Jeffrey Driggers and Chad Bennett.
She was born Aug. 24, 1942, in Obion County, daughter of the late Charlie and Lizzie (Brown) Butler. She married David Luther Rudd Jan. 14, 1958. He survives. She was a homemaker and was a member of Blessed Hope Baptist Church in Troy.
She was active in the Easter Seals Society and coached Pee-Wee basketball and T-Ball. She was an avid seamstress.
She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy and Kenneth Hood of Obion and Sherry and Kevin Dunn of Troy; her son and daughter-in-law, David and Sherry Rudd of Troy; 12 grandchildren, Crystal Gibson, Shayanne Green, Livvy Hood, Jennifer Spicer, Bo Korn, Leah Korn, Ashley Dunn, Justin Dunn, Katie Rudd, Rebecca Rudd, Tyler Trull and Chasity Rhodes; 13 great-grandchildren; and her brother, Charlie Butler.
She was also preceded in death by her grandson, Greg Hood; two brothers, J.D. Butler and John Butler; two sisters, Mary Ellen Griffin and Louise Benoit; and her nephew, Kenneth Butler.
