Bonney Wilson

Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at East View Cemetery, with Dr. Cecil Sewell officiating.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. at White-Ranson Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Brian Burress, Brad Gore, Ryne Burden, Drew Garrett, James Lynn Wilson and Bobby Allen. Honorary pallbearers will be his nephews, his grandchildren and his great-grandchildren.
The family requests that memorials be made to Union City First Baptist Church.
He was born Jan. 12, 1941, in Kenton, son of the late Willie Mac “Bill” and Alice (Johnson) Wilson. He married the former Donna Pruett April 20, 1963. She survives. He had been employed at Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. for 30 years, most recently working in the shipping department. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and retired with the rank of chief from the U.S. Navy Reserves. He was a member of Union City First Baptist Church.
He is also survived by two daughters and his son-in-law, Tracy and Brad Gore and Gena Burden, all of Union City; his son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Tina Wilson of Pulaski; five grandchildren and the spouse of one, Brian and Tara Burress of Mt. Juliet, Brett Gore, who is a U.S. Marine stationed in Camp Pendleton, Calif., Ryne Burden and Robyn Burden, both of Union City, and Hunter Wilson, Kayla Garrett and Drew Garrett, all of Pulaski; three great-grandsons, Braden Burress, Britton Burress and Bennett Burress, all of Mt. Juliet; and two sisters, Joyce Mabry of Milan and Helen James of Brighton.
He was also preceded in death by his brother and two sisters.
