Lula Taylor

Funeral services were held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, July 12, at Hornbeak Funeral Chapel in Fulton and interment was in Obion County Memorial Gardens.
Memorials may be made to the South Fulton Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 5258, South Fulton, TN 38257.
She was born March 13, 1930, in Weakley County and she had lived in this area most of her life.
She was a member of South Fulton Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School class for 30 years, and was also a member of the Christian Women’s Club. She had worked for the former Baybee Shoe Company in Union City, at the former Ferry Morse Seed Company in Fulton, Ky., for 18 years and at the former Stanley Jones in South Fulton.
She is survived by her husband, George M. Taylor of South Fulton; two daughters and two sons-in-law, Jane and Wayne Bailey and Karen and John O. Jones, all of South Fulton; four grandchildren, Meredith Johnson of Medina, Robert Bailey of Jacksonville, Fla., Melissa Jones of Denver and Allison Jones of Nashville; two sisters, Joyce Jones of South Fulton and Helen Martin of St. Louis; and three brothers, Robert “Leo” Bunton of Livonia, Mich., James Bunton of St. Louis and Donald Bunton of South Fulton.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Cecil Robert Taylor; her parents, Jess and Molly (Sadler) Bunton; three brothers, Bud Bunton, Clyde Bunton and Jerry Bunton; and two sisters, Ruby Harrison and Lucille Wootchie.
