Private memorial graveside services will be held at a later date. Lindsey Funeral Home in Paducah, Ky., is in charge of arrangements.
He served in the U.S. Army and was a member of Union City Second Baptist Church. He was a renowned hairstylist and had been the owner and an instructor at the former Romy’s’ Beauty School and Aycock’s Beauty Shop in Union City.
He loved to travel and cook and was always willing to help a friend in need. He was loved by many.
Mr. Aycock was preceded in death by his parents, Fannie Belle (Covington) and Romy T. Aycock Sr.; and an infant sister, Mary Margaret Aycock.
