Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at White & Mahon Funeral Home in Troy, with the Rev. Terry Council officiating. Burial will follow near Troy in Campground Cemetery.
The family will receive friends 5-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be John Burns, D.J. Burns, Mikey Mayse, Charlie Vickers, William Simmons and Zack Parker.
He was born Jan. 29, 1959, in Dyersburg, son of the late Faye and Sarah Katherine (Chumley) Hepler. He married the former Debra Burns Sept. 1, 1989. She survives. He was an employee of Storey Sawmill and Lumber Co. in Troy, where he was a forklift operator, and was a Baptist.
He is also survived by his stepfather, Walter Hepler Sr. of Troy; his daughter, Brandi Crain of Troy; his son, Stephen E. Crain of Obion; three grandchildren, Jaxon Crain and Lyndsey Patterson, both of Obion, and Drake Tucker of Troy; eight brothers and sisters; and several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by his granddaughter, Katelynn Tucker; his brother, Tommy Crain; and his sister, Linda Hepler.
