Private family graveside services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Cobb’s Chapel Cemetery near Hornbeak. There will be no visitation. Cryer Funeral Home in Obion is in charge of arrangements.
She was a homemaker and the daughter of the late J.E. and Amy (Askew) Hicks. She enjoyed Cardinal baseball, gardening, cooking, animals, reading and In Touch Ministries.
She is also survived by another daughter, Barbara Williams of Memphis; her brother and sister-in-law, Dr. Bill and Ann Hicks of Knoxville; her sister, Patricia Spence of Memphis; three grandsons and their wives, John and Susan Williams of Jackson, Kip and Jennifer Barnett of Jackson and Matt and Tina Barnett of Martin; and four great-grandchildren, Brittany Barnett of Martin, Brennan Barnett of Union City and Elizabeth Williams and Jonathan Williams, both of Jackson.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Frank Gray; her brother, Dale  Hicks; and her great-grandson, Braedon Barnett.
