Leborn Farmer

Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at New Hope Bible Church near Union City, with the Rev. Darrell Hoffman officiating. Burial will follow in Cobb’s Chapel Cemetery. Cryer Funeral Home in Obion is in charge of arrangements.
Friends may call at the church Saturday beginning at 6 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Eddie Fleming, Carl Southerland, Kris Woods, Allen Woods, Jason Parnell and Anthony Constance.
He was born Dec. 4, 1935, in Camden, son of the late Watts and Ola (Smith) Farmer. He was a farmer.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley (Lacey) Farmer; two sons and his daughter-in-law, Billy and Mary Farmer of Mooring and Eddie Fleming of Samburg; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Teresa Southerland of Martin, Shelia and Rocky Woods of Samburg and Lisa and Shannon Morris of South Fulton; two sisters, Martha Nunnery of Ridgely and Betty Farmer of Arizona; nine grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Rebecca Farmer; two brothers, John Farmer and Billy Farmer; and his sister, Lillian Wheeler.
