Memorial services will be 4 p.m. Saturday at McConnell Baptist Church, with the Rev. Mark Dowdy officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 1 p.m. until the hour of services Saturday. Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
He was born Dec. 12, 1939, in Sharon, son of the late Fred Carter and Florence (Summers) Terry. He was married to the former Melinda Wolverton, who survives.
A retired state investigator for the 27th Judicial District of Tennessee, he was a member of McConnell Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Melinda (Wolverton) Terry of Dresden; three daughters, Kim Higgs of Dresden, Kelly Alley of Martin and Jo Lynn Bolack of Fishkill, N.Y.; his son, Adam Killion of Paris; and eight grandchildren.
