Joyce Dodson

Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at White & Mahon Funeral Home in Troy, with burial to follow at Terrace Hill Cemetery near Troy.
The family will receive friends 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be James David Easterwood, Colton Easterwood, Chance Weldon, Shane Dodson, Evan Dodson, Jim Cook, Coleman Carpenter, Mackie Austin and Chad Foley.
She was born June 17, 1953, in Obion County, daughter of Raymond and Juanita Easterwood of Troy. She married Greg Dodson April 9, 1971. For many years, she worked at Hillcrest Elementary School as an educational assistant.
Mrs. Dodson is also survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Dawne and Stacey Burpo of Troy; her son, Todd Dodson of Nashville; her grandson, Garrett Burpo of Troy; her brother and sister-in-law, David and Lisa Easterwood of Troy; her sister and brother-in-law, Beth and Cameron Weldon of Martin; four nephews; and seven nieces.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Johnny Easterwood of Martin.
