Betty Jo Garrigus

Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Obion County Memorial Gardens, with the Rev. Johnny Chessor officiating. The family will receive friends from 9-10:45 a.m. Thursday at White-Ranson Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Timothy Garrigus, Josh Garrigus, Andrew Parks, Billy Jones, Larry Jones, Elmer Staggs, Kelly Walker and Ronnie Roney.
She was born Sept. 9, 1937, in Lake County, daughter of the late Leroy and Eddie Marie (Jones) Motley. She married Ernest Garrigus March 21, 1953. He died Dec. 16, 2010. She was a retired employee of the former Otasco in Union City and was a member of Cottonwood Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Steve Garrigus of Union City and Ricky Garrigus of Portland; seven grandchildren, Jason Garrigus, Tiffany Garrigus, Timothy Garrigus, Joshua Garrigus, Ryan Hubble, Tori Hubble and Andrew Parks; nine great-grandchildren; her sister, Joyce Rezac; and her brother, Jerry Motley.
She was also preceded in death by her son, Ernest Lee Garrigus; and her brother, Kenneth Motley.
