Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Hornbeak Funeral Home in Fulton, with interment following in Cayce (Ky.) United Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. Tuesday until the hour of services at the funeral home.
The family requests that memorials be made to Relay for Life and mailed to 302 Carr St., Fulton, KY 42041; or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908.
He attended Cayce United Methodist Church and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, where he served in World War II. He had retired from the Kentucky State Highway Department, where he was an assistant foreman, and had lived in Hickman for 80 years.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Dot (Wade) Lowery; his daughter and son-in-law, Quretha and Dennis Coffey of Hickman; two grandchildren and the spouse of one, Rob Coffey of Hickman and Brenna and Thomas Ray of Union City; and his great-grandchild, Stowe Edward Ray of Union City.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Lee Lowery.
