Patsy Norrid

Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at White & Mahon Funeral Home in Troy, with William Norrid officiating. Burial will follow in Fremont Cemetery near Union City.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home 5-8 p.m. Tuesday.
Pallbearers will be Billy Joe Roberson, Brad Norsworthy, Clint Gantt, Lyn Maloney, Neil Dodson, Preston Young and Cyril Harris. Honorary pallbearers will be Lew Solmon, Paul Norrid, Hoyt Sampson, Wilba Scott and Russell Fultz.
The family requests that memorials be made to Troy United Methodist Church.
She was born Feb. 19, 1935, in Calloway County, Ky., daughter of the late Rex and Era (Robertson) Huie. She married Harold Joe Norrid June 25, 1954. He died Sept. 12, 1985. She had been employed at the post office in Troy for 25 years and had been postmistress for nine years prior to her retirement in 1992. She was a member of Troy United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Paula Robertson of Dyersburg; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Ross and Judy Norrid and Ben Norrid, all of Friendship, and Jack and Vickie Norrid of Alamo; six granddaughters; two grandsons; and six great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her great-grandchild.
