Bart Netherland

Graveside services were 3 p.m. Sunday at Obion County Memorial Gardens, with Hornbeak Funeral Home in Fulton in charge of arrangements.
The family requests that memorials be made to Fulton First United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 1386, Fulton, KY 42041.
He was a member of Fulton First United Methodist Church and was a U.S. Navy veteran who had served in World War II. He was a retired clerk for the Illinois Central Railroad and was a retired farmer. A longtime Obion County road commissioner, he was a member of American Legion Post 72 in Fulton. He had lived in South Fulton and Obion County all of life.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth (Underwood) Netherland; his son and daughter-in-law, David and Nikki Netherland of South Fulton; his daughter, Pam Dame of South Fulton; five grandchildren, Brad Dame of South Fulton, Craig Dame of College Grove, Becky Burnett of Union City, Brent Netherland of Fairview and Bart Netherland of Cookeville; and five great-grandchildren, Max Dame of South Fulton, Jack Dame and Maci Kate Dame, both of College Grove, and Braxton Burnett and Bryce Burnett, both of Union City.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Nona (Eskridge) and William Silas Netherland, three sisters and his brother.
