Peggy Snell

Services will be 3 p.m. Thursday at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Rick Burton officiating. Burial will follow in Fremont Cemetery.
The family will receive friends 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Todd Griffes, William Griffes, Jonathan Welch, Steven Bell, Chad Fowlkes and Joe Cranford.
She was born Oct. 31, 1939, in Obion County, daughter of the late Van Carmack and Naomi (Owens) Ping. She was a retired nurse, having worked at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City for more than 20 years, and was a member of Tennessee Nurses Association. She was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by three daughters, Deborah Griffes of Paducah, Ky., Karen Robertson of Los Angeles and Rebecca Wood of Union City; two sons, John Snell and Aaron Snell, both of Union City; nine grandchildren, Jennifer Griffes, William Griffes, Cody Moore, Samantha Robertson, Brittany Thompson, Brandon Readenour, Michael Thompson, Abagail Snell and Nicole Thielacker; two great-grandchildren; her sister, Patricia Ping of Nashville; and three brothers, Van Ping and Gene Ping, both of Surprise, Ariz., and John Ping of Farmington Hills, Mich.
