Lakie Morgan

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Obion County Memorial Gardens. Lakeside Funeral Home in Woodstock, Ga., is in charge of arrangements.
She was born March 9, 1922, in Hickman, Ky., moved to Detroit and married Howard Morgan. She worked 28 years for Chrysler before moving to Ohio and subsequently retiring in Tennessee. She enjoyed growing flowers, playing cards and spending time with her family. Her last few years were spent close to her daughter in Georgia.
She is survived by her brother, Alton Thomas; her daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Scot Jenkins; three grandchildren and the spouse of one, Jessica Jenkins, Rebecca and Matthew Wilhoite and Brent Jenkins; and two great-grandchildren, Jackson Wilhoite and Presley Wilhoite.
Lakie was preceded in death by her husband Howard; her sister, Helen McDaniel, and four brothers Royce Thomas, Gaylon Thomas, Nolan Thomas and Percy Thomas.
