Barry Ray Long

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Lenox Baptist Church in Dyersburg. All family and friends are invited to attend.
The family requests that any memorials be directed to Lenox Baptist Church, P.O. Box 32, Lenox, TN 38047.
He was born May 28, 1960, in Arcadia, La. He grew up in Union City and was a member of Second Baptist Church in Union City. He graduated from the University of Tennessee at Martin with a degree in forestry.
Survivors include his parents, Bob Long and Dorcas Stuckey; two brothers, Monty Long and family and Chad Long and family; his half sister, Twyla Long; his faithful, loving partner, Deborah Simmons; two children, Melisa Ball and family and Braxton Luckett and family; his stepson, Dakota Miller; three grandchildren, Skylar, Gavin and Lucas; and three step-grandchildren, Madison, Darren and Riley.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Lynn Long.
