William Vinson

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Beech Cemetery near Union City. There will be no visitation. Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at 9:45 a.m. White-Ranson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
He is the son of the late Arthur and Mable (Johnson) Vinson. He married the former Susan Tune Sept. 27, 1952. She died Oct. 21, 2005. He married the former Debra Moyers in 2006. She survives. He was a retired teacher and had been a coach for the Obion County School System. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and was a member of Beech Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
He is also survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Shane Williams of Union City; and two granddaughters, Hannah Williams and Holly Williams, both of Union City.
He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Pauline Ransom and Moline Hickman.
The family requests that memorials be made to Beech Cemetery Association.
