Dewey Bradley
Family and friends celebrated his life on earth Saturday from 5-8 p.m. in the chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home in Kenton. Funeral services were Sunday at 3 p.m. in the chapel, with Bro. Dennis Cleek officiating. Burial followed in Sunnyside Cemetery in Kenton.
He was born Dec. 6, 1930, in Lewis County, son of the late Alta Jo (Barber) and Andrew Columbus Bradley and lived 66 happy, prosperous years with the former Modine Ray in Kenton. He was a member of Kenton Church of God and had retired from Wade Land Co.
The light of his life were his three daughters, Tarica Coble of Rutherford, Voinda Johnson of Kenton and Katrina Bond and her husband, Andy Bone, of Kentucky.
Granddaddy Dewey will be greatly missed by his grandchildren and their spouses, Dewayne and Donna Coble, Melissa and Thomas Shoemaker, Buddy and Heather Johnson, Kerri Cunningham and Anthony and Elizabeth Johnson; eight great-grandchildren and the spouse of one, Blake Coble, Summer Coble, Matthew Shoemaker, Alyssa and Jordan Ward, Keara Cunningham, Madison Johnson, Alexa Johnson and Grace Johnson; and two great-great-grandchildren, Riley Ward and Caylee Coble.
