Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Obion County Memorial Gardens, with the Rev. James Kinsey and Larry Hitesman officiating.
The family will receive friends at White-Ranson Funeral Home from 9 a.m. until time to go to the cemetery Wednesday.
The family requests that memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis.
She was born May 3, 1922, in Obion County, daughter of the late George Boyd and Mary Ada (Hawkins) Key. She married J.W. Smith in April 1948. He died Nov. 26, 2004. She was a homemaker and was a member of Sunswept Baptist Church in Union City.
She is survived by her sister, Melba Mueller of Columbia, S.C.; her sister-in-law, Peggy (Smith) Hammond of Fulton; 12 nieces and nephews, Allison Whitledge of Fulton, Brenda Wall of Hiawassee, Ga., Katherine Hart of Lebanon, Katherine Wright of Atlanta, David Reeder and Ricky Smith, both of Union City, Steve Cox of Louisville, Ky., Gregory Cox of Crestwood, Ky., Gregory Hart of Madison, Daniel Mueller and Phillip Mueller, both of Columbia, S.C., and Joe Key of Hilton Head, S.C.
She was also preceded in death by five brothers and sisters; and her nephew, Mike Hart.
