Wilsie Cooper

Services were Sunday at Kenton United Methodist Church, with Bro. John Varden officiating. Interment followed in Sunnyside Cemetery of Kenton, with Karnes Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
She was born Sept. 10, 1928, in Gainesville, Ark., daughter of the late Hermon and Ora Mai (Davie) Freeman. She retired as a nurse at the former Obion County General Hospital.  
She is survived by two sons and her daughter-in-law, Edward Cooper and Jimmy and Diane Cooper; two daughters and sons-in-law, Julia and Jim Freeman and Susan and Charles Beene; seven grandchildren and their spouses, Michael Ellis, Paul and Annalyn Cooper, Chris Cooper, Rhiann Cooper, Sally and Andrew Gill, Scott Cooper and Amber Freeman; six great-grandchildren, Evan Ellis, Ethan Ellis, Logan Ellis, Angelo Cooper, Leon Cooper and Ryu Cooper; also dear to her heart children, Riley Jo and Molly Tate, Cody and Macy Little and Wendy Tate.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Paris Cooper; her grandchild, Terri Ellis; two brothers, James Freeman and Dale Freeman; and her sister, Naomia Buchanan.
