Jack Pruett

A private memorial service is planned, with Berryhill Funeral assisting the family.
The family requests that memorials be made to Alzheimer’s research, juvenile diabetes research or peanut allergy research.
He was born July 1, 1932, in Obion, son of the late Homer Lawrence and Nora Belle (Dodson) Pruett. He had been a resident of Nashville for many years before moving to Huntsville in 2010.
He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War and worked for Bell South Communications for 35 years, retiring in 1991.
He is also survived by his wife, Joan (Wells) Pruett; his daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and George D’Alessio of Redmond, Wash.; his son and daughter-in-law, Tommy and Terri Pruett of Huntsville; five grandchildren, Emily Pruett of Coral Gables, Fla., Erica Pruett of Nashville, Roy Pruett of Roanoke, Va., and Trent D’Alessio and Lance D’Alessio, both of Redmond; and his brother, Billy Joe Pruett of Highland, Ill.
