Glenn Bearden

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home, with Dr. Cecil Sewell officiating. Burial will follow in East View Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from noon until the hour of services Saturday.
Pallbearers will be Mitch Hicks, Andy Hill, Billy Vassar, Johnny Fowler, Kent McAlister and Mike Killion.
He was born Oct. 13, 1946, in Gadsden, Ala., son of the late Louie and Emily (Steele) Bearden. He had retired after 38 years of service at Goodyear, where he had been a production specialist, and was a member of Union City First Baptist Church.
He is survived by his former wife of 30 years, Teresa (Gwin) Bearden of Union City; his daughter, Deana Bearden-Hicks of Union City; his son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Jennie Beth Bearden of Union City; three grandchildren, Mitchell Glenn Hicks, Sailor Bearden and Sloan Bearden, all of Union City; and two brothers, Freddie Bearden of Southside, Ala., and Troy Bearden of Gadsden.
He was also preceded in death by his sister, Frances Stanfield; and his brother, Ronnie Bearden.
