Pearly Brandon

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Ebenezer Cemetery near Troy. The family will receive friends Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at White-Ranson Funeral Home.
She was born May 12, 1929, in Obion County, daughter of the late Ezra and Dollie (Fulcher) Long. She married L.D. Brandon May 6, 1946. He survives. She was a retired respiratory therapist, having been employed at the former Obion County General Hospital and at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City.
She was a member of Troy’s Blessed Hope Baptist Church.
She is also survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Jonnie Brandon of Dukedom; two daughters and her son-in-law, Gwen and Johnny Hassell and Debrah Williams, all of Union City; her brother, Freeman Long of Troy; three sisters, Mary Stevenson of Sharon, Clara Simon of Michigan and Jean McGee of Florida; seven grandchildren, Melissa Cunningham of Dukedom, Leslie Dean of Wisconsin, Michael D. Brandon of Harris Station community, John Brandon of South Fulton, Dena Lewis of Union City, Kevin Hassell of Finley and Hope Sweatt of Martin; 17 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her son, Jerry Brandon; and her grandson, Dennis Williams.
