Brown Thompson

Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Reed’s Chapel in Decaturville, with burial to follow in Mt. Tabor Cemetery in Parsons.
The family will receive friends 3-8 p.m. Saturday and from 9 a.m. until the hour of services Sunday at the funeral home.
He was a retired employee of TVA and was a U.S. Army veteran.
Survivors include his daughter, Quincetta Thompson of Helena, Mont.; and his son and daughter-in-law, Markaus and Damary (Sarmiento) Thompson of Florence.
He was also preceded in death by his wife, Martha Kay (Spellings) Thompson; his son, Leslie Brown Thompson II; his parents, Perry Polk and Rosetta Pearl (Yarbro) Thompson; his brother, William Marvin Thompson; and two sisters, Ida Simmons and Barbara Spooner.
