David Pitts

Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at White & Mahon Funeral Home in Troy, with the Rev. Archie Larry officiating. Burial will follow in Graves Chapel Cemetery near Troy.
The family will receive friends 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Pitts, Mike Pitts, Jerry Pitts, Ronnie Lyell, Jeff Lyell and Caleb Lyell.
He was born May 14, 1955, in Muskegon, Mich., son of the late Paul Edward and Laverne (Tanner) Pitts. He was a retired heavy machine operator for the former Younger Salvage Co. and was a Baptist.
He is survived by his daughter, Chelsie M. Pitts of Hornbeak; three sons and his daughter-in-law, Harris and Ann Pitts of the Protemus community, Steven Pitts of Murray, Ky., and Allen Pitts of Fulton; two sisters and his brother-in-law, Vada and Tom Parker of Troy and Shelia Huey of Hazel, Ky.; his brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Sandra Pitts of Troy; and his granddaughter, Molly Pitts of Protemus.
He was also preceded in death by his brother, Hubert Pitts.
