Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at White-Ranson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Minnick Cemetery. The Rev. Vann Kissell will officiate.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be James Lloyd Spence, Michael Cain, Charles “Chip” Cain, Quinton Spence, Chris Burton and Richard Turner. Honorary pallbearers will be Jace Rudd, Colten Rudd, Branson Spence, Dawson Turner, Graysen Cain, Garrison Cain, Will Cain, Aidan Cain, Elijah Cain, Richard Romero and Morgan Burton.
She was born March 22, 1934, in Lexington, daughter of the late Samuel Rufus and Lizzie Bell (Moon) Lovell. She married James Monroe Cain Jan. 7, 1950. He died Aug. 31, 2004. She was a homemaker and a member of Cottonwood Grove Baptist Church in Ridgely.
She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Rose Ann and Duke Mitchell of Troy and Wilma and Johnny Turner of Tiptonville; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; her brother, Billy Joe Lovell of Dyersburg; her sister and brother-in-law, Lorine and Allen Burton of Ridgely; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Martha Sue Burton; her son, Richard Sidney Cain; four brothers, William Lovell, Sherman Lee Lovell, Odell Lovell and Gerald “Red” Lovell; two sisters, Gladys Arrington and Della Reynolds; two half brothers, J.D. Lovell and Luther Lovell; two half sisters, Ilene Lovell and Irene Lovell; and two great-grandchildren, James Caleb Spence and Brandon Colby Spence.
