Janice Stewart

Services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Terry Council will officiate. Burial will follow in Salem Cemetery near Union City.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home 5-8 p.m. today.
Pallbearers will be Nathan Stewart, Stephen Rhoades, Steve Wheatley, Jacob Wheatley, Billy Williams and Tyler Williams.
Mrs. Stewart was born June 4, 1934, in Lauderdale County, daughter of the late Luther Emerson and Mary Jane (Davis) Bryan. She married Dale Stewart Dec. 2, 1950. He survives. She was a retired employee of the former Brown Shoe Co. and attended Greater Vision Church of God in Troy.
She is also survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, Tommy and Vickie Stewart of Union City, Dennis and Kim Stewart of Chickamauga, Ga., and Joey Stewart of Chattanooga; three sisters, Patsy Preuett of Union City, Helen Hudson of Columbus, Ohio, and Margie Hudson of Memphis; six grandchildren and the spouses of three, Nathan Stewart of Union City, Stephanie and Stephen Rhoades of Ooltewah, Angela and Steve Wheatley of Gadsden, Ala., Ami and Billy Williams of South Fulton, Hannah Stewart of Newbern and Sela Stewart of Chickamauga.
She was also preceded in death by her son, Jeff Stewart; her sister, Mary Elizabeth Campbell Ray; and two brothers, Elton Bryan and Billy Bryan.
