Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Saturday at East View Cemetery in Union City. The Rev. James Kinsey and Larry Hitesman will officiate.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at 3 p.m. Saturday for the service.
Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
He was born July 21, 1958, in Obion County, son of Billy and Betty (Brockwell) Maynard of the Harris Station community. He married the former Kay Yates Sept. 10, 1993. She survives. He was a construction worker for the former Steel Systems Inc. and was a member of Sunswept Baptist Church.
He is also survived by two sons, Mitchell Maynard of Jackson and Brandon Maynard of New Port News, Va.; his stepdaughter and son-in-law, DeeAnn and Jason Molands of Union City; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Ricky and Linda Brown of Union City and Ronnie Brown Sr. and Gail Brown of South Fulton; two step-grandchildren, Katie Rudd of Union City and Tyler Molands of Union City; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
