Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Terrace Hill Cemetery near Troy.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until the hour of services Monday.
Pallbearers will be Randy Davis, Steve Farley, Tony Gammons and Larry Hill.
Mr. Johnson was born Feb. 27, 1948, in Detroit, son of the late John Earl and Mary Frances (Rinehart) Barker. He was a retired employee of Ermco in Dyersburg.
He is survived by his wife, Ilean (Lykins) Johnson; his stepson and his wife, Max and Barbara Grimes of Troy; his stepdaughter and her husband, Jill and Fredy Venczel of Danville, Va.; four grandchildren, Jordan Grimes of Troy, Haley Grimes of Union City and Zachery Venczel and Caleb Venczel, both of Danville; and two great-grandchildren, McKayla Purdy and Carson Purdy, both of Union City.
