Ozella Moore

Services will be 1 p.m. Monday at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jerry Leggett officiating, assisted by the Rev. Johnny Michael. Entombment will follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends Monday from 11 a.m. until the hour of services at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Bart Lewis, James Howard Moore, Josh Moore, Jonathan France, Micheal France and Bobby Faulkner.
She was born Dec. 15, 1925, in Madison County, daughter of the late King and Lula Mae (Pitts) Prater. She married James Cecil “Jack” Moore Sept. 21, 1945. He died Dec. 30, 2002.
She had been a nurse’s aide for the former Obion County General Hospital and at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City. She was a member of Union City Second Baptist Church and was a member of Order of the Eastern Star. She was also a former Crewette with the Union City Rescue Squad and a Lioness with the former Union City Lions Club.
She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Joann and Tully Moore of Rives and Jackie and Willie Lewis of Bartlett; her son, James Cecil “Bubba” Moore Jr. of Rives; nine grandchildren and their spouses, Melissa and Micheal France, James H. and Sherri Moore, Josh Moore and Jack Moore, all of Rives, Matt Wright of Union City, Bart and Melissa Lewis of Houston, Amanda and David Wilson of Bartlett, Ashley Moore of Medina and Lindsey Moore of the Sidonia community; nine great-grandchildren and the spouse of one of them, Jonathan France, Will Sisco, Wes Sisco, Will Thomas Moore and James Tully Moore, all of Rives; Rebekah and Lee Simmons of Mason Hall, Christian Cousin of Sidonia, Brennan Lewis of Houston and Finley Wilson of Bartlett; and two great-great-grandchildren, Charlie Simmons and Cory Simmons, both of Mason Hall.
She was also preceded in death by five sisters, Pearl Ruff, Nora Brown, Helen Faulkner, Alberta Sanguinett and Ruby Louise Hayes; and her brother, Jodie Prater.
