L.M. Bardwell

Visitation for Mr. Bardwell will be Saturday from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. in the chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home of Rutherford. Interment will follow in Eastside Cemetery of Kenton.
Mr. Bardwell was born June 17, 1928, in Gibson County, son of the late Lonnie and Roberta (Flippin) Bardwell. He retired from the Milan Army Ammunition Plant as a line superintendent. He was also a veteran and he served as a deacon at St. Paul Baptist Church.
He is survived by 10 children and the spouses of two of them, Paul Lancaster, Janet Bardwell, L.M. Bardwell Jr. and Linda Bardwell, Kenneth Bardwell, Billy Bardwell, Betty and Tim Higgs, Rose Bush, Angela L. Bailey, Angela C. Bailey and Frank Finch; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He  was also preceded in death by his wife, Bobbie Sue (Eskew) Bardwell; his daughter, Wanda Dobbins; five sisters; and two brothers.
