Skippy Joe James

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Minnick Cemetery, west of Obion. Jeff Bell will officiate.
James was born Feb. 17, 1946, the son of the late John R. and Hattie (Carter) James. He was a resident of the Norwood Group Home, a division of St. John’s Community Developmental Services, where he enjoyed a long and happy life.
He is survived by three sisters, Omelie Faulkner of Martin, Peggy Burden of Obion and Betty Beeler of Linden; and a brother, Johnny James of Nashville.
There will be no visitation.
